Ratelle PTC - STD Clinical Intensive- Boston_September Massachusetts General Hospital - Massachusetts State Public Health Laboratory - Boston, Massachusetts

Clinical courses feature 2 days of on-site training that include 2015 STD Guideline review, case discussions, use of motivational interviewing,  and hands-on laboratory instruction (wet mount) PLUS  1/2 day of clinical shadowing to be scheduled within three weeks of didactic sessions.

TARGET AUDIENCE
Healthcare professionals (physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, certified nurse midwives, nurses) in public or private practice who examine and treat individuals at risk for STDs/HIV. Applicants may include clinicians who work in family planning, adolescent health, women’s health, primary care, urgent care, or community health centers.

Ratelle PTC - Advanced STD Clinical for ID Fellows Massachusetts General Hospital/Massachusetts State Public Health Laboratory - Boston, Massachusetts

This training is for infectious disease fellows and features 16 hours of didactic lectures and case discussions, along with 13 hours of on-site clinical training, which includes a hands-on laboratory (wet mounts/gram stain) and clinical skills practicum.
